yay for my hard day of finals being done (3 on a monday suck). i'm really looking forward to being home and relaxing. so i got the camp job and i'm doing my internship this summer. seems to be working out just fine.

now i just have to pack all this stuff up!

i need a break. i want this semester to be over and i want my finals to be over. i'm majorly stressed. i'm just thankful that work will be over next wednesday. that will be one thing less to stress out about. whatever happened to the no stress diet?

i'm tired of all the negativity it just brings me down.

So, not much has been going on to update on. Lots of responsiblity placed on me the past few days.  relay for life is coming up, i'm way excited but there's a bunch of things that aren't ready for the event yet. it's such a good cause i just feel really stretched thin sometimes. i'm just really thankful for an awesome team!

i was able to go to a springfield cardinals game tonight. loads of fun without the normal stress of work on wednesday. we went to steak n shake too...yum yum!

makes me way happy! i'm ready to relax and do something i love this summer. work and lay out and get some rays with ash!

OHOHOH!!! i forgot to tell you about my other summer plans. i've applied to be a camp counselor at Camp Quality this summer. It's a camp for kids with cancer. i will hopefully have an interview next week with the two directors. please pray for me about it.

These are the moments...I know Heaven must exsist....

What words can express the past week? The joy of working for a cause, seeing your progress and the smiles upon the faces of the people you are helping. What an amazing experience. God working through 100 of us this past week was the most uplifting and powerful thing I've felt in a long time. Just to sit on the plaza with a small group of friends or do our Bible study under the stars was breath taking.  The stars were gorgeous...to look up and see the creation and know that in a way you are so small yet part of something so big. It's overwhelmingly pleasant. I made friends I believe that will last a lifetime and made the realization that I want to continue this. I want to be a part of something bigger. I can't wait to go back next year, and possibly do other mission trips outside the country. Maybe even the PeaceCorps. Who knows where this life will lead. For this life isn't in my hands any longer.

These are the moments I thank God that I'm alive....

well everyone...packing is underway...this time tomorrow i shall be on my way to mexico...wish me luck!
